A farewell tour for Govia Thameslink Railway’s Class 313 EMUs has raised thousands of pounds for charity.

Enthusiasts are expected to have raised £25,000 for Chestnut Tree House and Railway Children on the Class 313 tour, which ran from Brighton via Bognor, Littlehampton, Three Bridges, Ore and Newhaven. The fleet is due to be retired on 20 May, replaced by Electrostars.
