Applications open for RVE BigIdea

Applications to participate in this year’s exciting new supplier engagement activity at Modern Railways RVE are now open.

Rail Forum Midlands is organising RVE BigIdea, which is taking place at Modern Railways RVE on 4 November at Derby Arena. Focusing on major opportunity areas including decarbonisation and accessibility, suppliers have a great opportunity to highlight their newly developed products and services that could be of interest to the range of customer organisations taking part.
Suppliers can select up to two themes to respond to from the following:

  • Accessibility – provision of solutions which enhance the accessibility of any aspect of vehicles by any user;
  • Asset Optimisation – provision of solutions which optimises utilisation of vehicles or enhances services to customers (passengers and freight);
  • Decarbonisation – provision of solutions that significantly contribute to the NetZero agenda;
  • Productivity – provision of solutions that can drive productivity gains for railway activity with specific focus on rolling stock.

The closing date for applications is 17.00 on 24 September. Guidance and the application form can be found on the RFM website at #RVEBigIdea is free to RFM members and Modern Railways RVE exhibitors.
