TRANSPORT FOR London has announced BLLQ LLP as its preferred bidder to develop a 1.8-acre site opposite Blackhorse Road station.
The consortium of Barratt London and L&Q will work with Tflto deliver around 350 new homes by 2022. Subject to permissions, work could begin in 2019.
The site is surrounded by a number of mixed use developments, with Tflsaying this will together create a new neighbourhood of around 1,700 homes alongside retail, commercial and leisure spaces. This year Tflis planning to bring forward sites that will deliver 3,000 homes.
