Bradford will benefit from IRP, says Minister

TRANSPORT MINISTER Andrew Stephenson told the House of Commons Transport Committee on 23 March that the decision to invest in a mass transit system for West Yorkshire would deliver more local benefits than building a new railway from Bradford to Manchester. He was speaking at the evidence session for the Transport Committee’s inquiry into the Integrated Rail Plan.
