End of an era: at the end of July container operations ceased at Bristol’s ‘Railport’, near Parson Street on the line to Taunton. The terminal reopened in 2010, having originally closed in May 1992. Here No 66518 departs on the final working on 29 July, a transfer move to Cardiff Wentloog. The yard has since been used for stabling and lorry parking and there are suggestions it could become an aggregates terminal. Richard Giles
