CAF builds for the UK

PHILIP SHERRATT visited CAF’s factory at Newport ahead of its official opening on 21 February

Train building in the UK is on the rise. CAF’s contribution to this trend is its new facility located at the Celtic Business Park near Newport in South Wales. A formal event to mark the opening was due to take place on 21 February, after this issue went to press, but prior to the event Modern Railways was invited to visit the site and see production in progress.
