TransPennine Express is one of the UK’s fastest growing operators. In the last two years, since it introduced Class 350 EMUs on its Scottish services and a new timetable, passenger numbers have grown by 20%. This followed on from the introduction of a new fleet of Class 185 DMUs, which entered service in 2006; both fleets were introduced on time and on budget.
