FIRST FLEX DELIVERY TO NORTHERN PLANNED FOR JANUARY
Bi-mode conversion: engine raft beneath No 769434.
PORTERBROOK PLANS to deliver the irst Class 769 bi-mode unit to Northern in January. Once the operator has received the irst unit it will begin main line testing and driver training, ahead of service introduction.
Northern is the irst operator to have ordered the bi-mode ‘769s’, converted from Class 319 EMUs.
