Are the you railway? playing I ask your this part simple in decarbonising question because it appears to me that the railway industry has a lot to do collectively and collaboratively in this new decade to set us on the path to deliver change.

What matters is making a difference to climate change. Rail is already responsible for just 1.6% of UK domestic transport emissions so has a huge advantage and role to play. And if you don’t happen to believe in the climate crisis, Government policy and public opinion have both shifted markedly in the last year, laying the foundation for a significant programme of work.
