NO-DEAL BREXIT TO STOP EUROSTAR SERVICES?
French Railways has for the first time raised the prospect of Eurostar services ceasing or being heavily restricted in the event of the UK leaving the European Union on 31 October without an agreement. The revelation came as it reported its financial results for the first half of 2019; for transport business SNCF Mobilités revenues were up 10.5% to €17.9 billion, with EBITDA (earnings before interest, taxation, depreciation and amortisation) profit of €2.9 billion.
