On 20 February 2018 Eurostar ran its inaugural passenger-carrying service from London to Amsterdam. The service, operated by Siemens e320 Velaro train No 374031/032, ran in the timings of the morning departure planned daily from 4 April. The inaugural train made the journey to Brussels non-stop in 1hr 48min and took 3hr 44min from leaving London to arriving in Amsterdam. Ticket sales for the new service started on 22 February (priced from £35/€40) after a software glitch prevented them starting two days earlier as had been planned.
