Exclusive Rail Forum sessions at Modern Railways EXPO 2022

Industry body Rail Forum will be hosting three events for rail industry visitors to the Modern Railways EXPO 2022 exhibition, which takes place at the Marshall Arena, Milton Keynes on 22-23 November.

Rail Forum has a dedicated area at the new industry exhibition – a show themed around the future of Britain’s railways – and innovation is at the heart of the three sessions on its stand.

The sessions are:

CrossTech Hubble Conference at 11.00 on 22 November hosted by Haydon Bartlett-Tasker of CrossTech. Maximum 60 mins.
Hubble is CrossTech’s leading Automated Digital Lineside Inspection Platform. Hubble users and potential users can hear how Network Rail is getting the most out of Hubble, shape the Hubble 2023 roadmap and address their Routes' needs at CrossTech's inaugural session at the Modern Railways EXPO 2022 in collaboration with Rail Forum.  Attending the event will give you exposure to:
•  Network Rail East Midlands and how they take advantage of Hubble;
•  A chance to meet the wider Hubble Network Rail community;
•  Exclusive access to Hubble's capabilities to be released next year;
•  There is also a chance to hear from some exciting tech companies in adjacent sectors .

Sustainable Supply Chain drop-in one-to-one consultations between 12.00 and 14.00 on 22 November hosted by Mark Wood of APS and Denise Taylor of Wylde Connections

Sustainability is a hot topic not just in rail but across all business sectors. With the growing urgency to address climate change issues sustainability is about much more than just carbon reduction; from understanding global mega trends to getting to grips with how everything is interconnected through to developing your own sustainability plans for your business. APS and Wylde Connections have deep experience in this field and will be available to chat informally to companies and to provide a short free introductory consultation to help business managers begin to get to grips with this important issue. Consultations will last around 15 minutes on a one-to-one basis.

Rail Cybersecurity: The Good The Bad and The Ugly at 11.00 23 November hosted by Evan Jones of CompleteCyber. Maximum 45 minutes.

Complete Cyber will deliver an overview of the impact of regulation NIS-D and facilitation of progress on the Cyber Assurance Framework adoption by the Railway. We will also provide a brief overview of what is still lacking in Rail, how train operators and suppliers can work together to address these gaps, as well as touching on emerging technologies that are impacting the rail industry.

Announcing the sessions, Rail Forum Chief Executive Elaine Clark said: 'The Rail Forum is delighted to continue our longstanding relationship with Modern Railways with the launch of their new two-day Modern Railways EXPO 2022 in Milton Keynes. The event looks set to offer something for everyone regardless of which part of the industry you are from and we will be running some specific activities alongside the show. We look forward to catching up with many colleagues from across the industry over the two days.
