It seems only reasonable that some changes would need to be made to adapt a series of books from the 1940s to the railway of today, but inspired by the Great Western advertising campaign we thought we would give it a go. Immediately it was clear that four people and a dog just weren’t enough, so we have brought in an anonymous franchise bid team member, a safety manager and a procurement man. Regular Anorak Tilly, who was the obvious choice for the dog (Timmy), was unwell and had to remain with the vet.
