FREIGHTLINER AND ONE IN PARTNERSHIP

FREIGHTLINER AND container shipping company Ocean Network Express (ONE) have signed a contract for guaranteed rail wagon capacity on the main intermodal routes in the UK. Freightliner says the switch of traffic to rail will remove 118,320 road miles per day from the road network. ONE is a combination of three Japanese shipping companies, MOL, NYK and K-Line, which previously operated independently.
