FREIGHTLINER’S OWNER Genesee & Wyoming is to buy container terminal operator Pentalver from APM Terminals.
Based in Southampton, Pentalver operates off-dock container terminals at the ports of Felixstowe, Southampton, London Gateway and Tilbury, as well as an inland terminal at Cannock. Gauge enhancement works currently underway as part of the Chase line electrification increase the likelihood of container trains running to Cannock in future.
