Digital railway is a major opportunity to transform the experience of the railway for passenger and freight customers. Delegates at the Railway Industry Association’s latest Unlocking Innovation event heard all about the opportunities the programme presents. The event took the form of a series of online webinars in partnership with the University of Birmingham, which has a specialist focus on digital technology at its centre of excellence within the UK Rail Research and Innovation Network (UKRRIN).
