Resonate’s tools are enabling signallers and controllers to have a ‘single source of the truth’ view of the railway, meaning they can operate it more efficiently, the company’s International Business Development Director Gavin Panter told the Golden Whistles conference.
Luminate Traffic Management has been in use on Network Rail’s Western Route from Paddington to Bristol, Oxford and Newbury since June 2018, having been delivered by Resonate within a year of contract award. Here it was overlaid on the Resonate Scalable signalling system, and it has since been followed by the world’s only integration of Stock and Crew, creating what Mr Panter called a joined-up railway with visibility of everything in one place. This journey continues with the integration of Connected Driver Advisory System (C-DAS) from May this year.
