Welcome
ScotRail was not having a good day. Searching out a refurbished Inter7City HST, I had been advised to take the 10.40 Aberdeen off Glasgow Queen Street, as one of the treated trains was booked on this service. Ideal: this would give me an opportunity to visit the recently-opened V&A in Dundee, something denied me by some serious late running on the East Coast last time I tried it (turns out that late-running was down to a suicide, so outside the railway’s control).
