Network Rail is to spend £15.5 million on the second phase of the upgrade of Clapham Junction station.

The Brighton Yard entrance at bridge level off St John’s Hill is being remodelled to allow wider gatelines to be installed to improve accessibility and reduce passenger congestion.

Space for five retail units is being created with plans to include coffee shops and newsagents, with toilets and baby changing facilities also upgraded.
