The Night Tube will resume on 27 November on the Central and Victoria lines for the first time since March 2020.
The service will run throughout Friday and Saturday nights on the routes, which were the previously the two busiest on Night Tube. Transport for London says that it will cut journey times and provide safer routes home for passengers. More than 2,500 police and community support officers, with 500 TfL enforcement officers patrol the capital’s transport network.
Driver training needs to take place on the other Night Tube lines – the Jubilee, Piccadilly and Northern lines – before the service can resume, and this could be complicated by operational and engineering closures. TfL adds that it is working to resume Night Overground services, although no timescale for that has been announced.
