ScotRail is to restore its pre-Christmas timetable from 14 February as the number of staff off work with Covid falls.
Around 2,000 services a day will run from Valentine’s Day as it becomes possible to run more trains reliably: at the peak of the Omicron wave more than 450 ScotRail staff were absent from work.
