Crossrail Update
The Crossrail programme is more than 80% complete and as station fit-out continues the first glazed platform edge screen doors were due to be installed in February. Trials of platform screen door installation at a test facility in Wolverton – to help refine and streamline the process – have been completed. Crossrail’s eight new sub-surface stations will feature full length screens on each platform to separate passengers from moving trains.
