Another quiet month with mainly crossover and level crossing closures or upgrades. On Anglia Route, Crossrail works at both Gidea Park and Pudding Mill Lane Junction have been commissioned. The only other significant work was on London North Western Route, where work continues on the Halton Curve reinstatement.

ANGLIA

Gidea Park (2:5A)

As part of the ongoing Crossrail project, Gidea Park Stabling sidings have been remodelled and have now been commissioned. They are as shown in the current Trackmaps book 2, with the exception of the Carriage Wash plant on Road 4 which has now been abolished. Some renaming has taken place, the four through roads are now known as ‘Gidea Park Stabling Line No 1’ through to ‘No 4’, and the headshunt at the country end is now known as the Overrun Spur.
