EAST MIDLANDS
Toton (4:14A)
A number of track alterations have been completed in Toton North Yard. Reception Road No 3 has been re-laid closer to Reception No 2, and sidings 1, 3 and 4 have been replaced with two additional through Reception Roads, No 4 & No 5. It is believed the remaining sidings, 5 to 14, have been renumbered 6 to 15. To the west of road 15, two roads (16 and 17) have been laid for a new Automotive Terminal, with two of the lines by the ‘Traction Maintenance School’ having been lifted to make room for the associated car holding area.
KENT
Paddock Wood (5:14A)
The Down Sidings West (34M 29ch to 34M 55ch) at Paddock Wood have been abolished.
LONDON NORTH EASTERN
Leeds (2:36A)
Enhancement works have taken place on the throat leading to platforms 4-6 at Leeds. A new scissor crossing has been installed at the end of platforms 5 and 6 and a new crossover has been installed between platforms 4 and 5. Point work has been removed to make way for these alterations – see the diagram…
