TV series covers railway buildings

A 10-PART series on UKTV’s Yesterday channel entitled The Architecture the Railways Built is due to start on 28 April, 2020, at 20.00. The series celebrates more than 40 individual stories from across Europe.

‘I have never been more proud of something that I have helped to make’ says Tim Dunn, the historian and broadcaster behind the series.

He adds: ‘The production team (Brown Bob, who were behind Peter Snow’s Rail Restoration) helped get folk from across Network Rail, TfL, European operators and private/heritage sites to talk about not trains, but architectural and civil engineering heritage – and the way the modern railway looks after it.’
