Starting in the early days of its franchise, Stagecoach made significant improvements to the network, including replacing most of the rolling stock, refurbishing stations, making stations accessible to disabled passengers, and improving customer information and station security.

Throughout the franchise periods, Stagecoach has introduced new rail services, and increased capacity whilst focusing on improving the passenger experience.
