Two years ago, in a speech at the British Museum, which had originally invited the Universities and Science minister, the then Transport Minister set a target for the rail industry

Are you fed up with environmental articles in a magazine about railways? Don’t blame you, I’m fed up with writing them too.

Unfortunately fuel policy ends up driving the industry, and that terrible speech on 12 February 2018 by Jo Johnson is still doing that.

Clearly written when he was still Universities and Science Minister just a month before, it was mainly the usual appeal for research cash.
