Companies from across the UK rail industry can showcase outstanding innovations and novel technologies as entries open for this year’s Railway Innovation Awards.
The event, the longest standing awards scheme in the industry, is held each year to celebrate the brightest ideas in the rail sector. The Railway Innovation Awards is organised by the Modern Railways Fourth Friday Club in partnership with the Railway Industry Association, and forms part of RIA’s wider Unlocking Innovation 2022 programme.
Entries are invited for the Railway Innovation Awards across eight categories covering all areas of the industry, including the headline Major Project prize. The deadline for entries is 30 April 2022, with submissions invited via the Modern Railways website at https://www.modernrailways.com/article/railway-innovation-awards-2022-entry-form.
The novel and innovative features of entries should be emphasised in submissions, to ensure the panel of expert judges from across the industry have all the information they need to make a decision.
