26-30 Railcard to go national

THE 26-30 Railcard will be launched nationally by the end of the year, the Rail Delivery Group has announced. The card, an extension of the current 16-25 Railcard but only available digitally for download to the Railcard app, was piloted in East Anglia last December. A nationwide trial launched on 13 March, but with only a limited number of Railcards available and with criticism concerning diiculty accessing the website to purchase a Railcard. Over four million people will be eligible for the Railcard, which ofers one-third of leisure travel and will be priced at £30.
