Bigger and better – exciting new venue for RVE 2022!

Modern Railways RVE 2022 will take place in an expanded format at a brand-new venue, providing further opportunities for the railway industry to meet.

The announcement comes as the show returns for the first time in two years following an enforced break due to the Covid-19 pandemic. The expanded two-day show next year will take place at the Marshall Arena at Milton Keynes on 26-27 October 2022.

Located near Network Rail’s headquarters, the Modern Railways RVE 2022 will feature more exhibitors, a supplier engagement event building on the success of 2021’s RVE BigIdea organised by Rail Forum Midlands, and an exciting conference line-up.

Dozens of exhibitors and hundreds of industry visitors are attending this year’s Modern Railways RVE show, which also incorporates the Fourth Friday Club’s Rail in the Midlands conference. The new venue provides more space and time for rail industry suppliers to showcase their products and services, with a range of exciting plans already in development for 2022.

Modern Railways Editor Philip Sherratt said: ‘It is fantastic to be back together in person for the Modern Railways RVE show this year, to meet old friends and make new ones.

‘2021 marks the third Modern Railways RVE show organised by Key Publishing under the Modern Railways banner. The show is the original dedicated event for the rolling stock supply chain and expanding to two days at a new venue next year marks the logical next step in the show’s journey.

‘With developments in technology continuing apace, Modern Railways RVE will be bigger and better and ideally placed for suppliers to meet potential customers. It is thanks to the support of sponsors, exhibitors and visitors that we can take this bold step to play our part in supporting the railway supply chain which is so vital for railways in the UK and abroad – and for the country’s economy.

‘As we move to a two-day show, we will expand all the successful elements of Modern Railways RVE, including the exhibition, conference and supplier engagement activity, while continuing to grow the show. We look forward to announcing details about some of the exciting new additions we have planned in due course.’
