Women in Rail Awards winners announced as Big Rail Diversity Challenge goes online
Switched online: teams take part in The 2019 Big Rail Diversity Challenge. This year BRDC was a virtual event but it will return to Newark Showground in 2021.
With in-person events not practical this year, two key events in the Women in Rail calendar went digital during September. On 22 September the UK rail industry flooded social media to celebrate the winners of the third annual Women in Rail Awards, while just under two weeks earlier the fifth Big Rail Diversity Challenge took place in an online format.
