THE LONDON Borough of Barnet has published a Prior Information Notice for a design and build contract for a new station at Brent Cross West on the Midland main line. Part of the wider Brent Cross Cricklewood development, the scheme has received outline planning consent and is targeted for completion by May 2022. Project proposals have been developed to GRIP 4 stage (single option development), with the successful contractor to develop the scheme through the remaining stages of Network Rail’s GRIP process in a deal valued at £40 million.
