GB RAILFREIGHT has won a contract with aggregates and concrete company J. Clubb to move ash from Cottam power station in Nottinghamshire to the HH Celcon brick works in Borough Green, Kent.
The first train ran on 4 July as part of a 12-month deal. The ash will be used in the manufacture of ‘aircrete’ blocks, which are used in building work.
