GB Railfreight (GBRf) has received its first operational Ecofret 2 triple-container intermodal wagon sets from VTG Rail to meet growing demand.
The wagons were delivered to the company’s Peterborough headquarters, and eliminate empty spaces between containers, reducing air turbulence and improving efficiency. GBRf is investing £50 million in the new wagons.
