Naval honour: GB Railfreight revived the tradition of naming locos after ships when No 66775 was named HMS Argyll after a type 23 frigate at Drake’s Halt, deep inside Her Majesty’s Naval Base Devonport in Plymouth, on a rainy 11 July 2017. The cast plate, accompanied by the ship’s number underneath, was unveiled by the ship’s commanding officer, Commander Toby Shaughnessy. Colin J. Marsden
