RVE MEET THE BUYER BREAKS RECORDS AGAIN

380 online appointments held as rolling stock suppliers and buyers meet

Modern Railways RVE may not have been able to take place this year, but the industry leading RVE Meet The Buyer event continued to provide a valuable opportunity for companies from the rolling stock sector to meet in a changed online format.

RVE Meet The Buyer has been an integral part of the show for many years. The concept is simple: it gives suppliers an opportunity to pitch their products and services to buyers from across the rolling stock sector. The value of a pre-arranged one-to-one meeting over an informal e-mail conversation cannot be underestimated, and this is why both suppliers and buyers have continued to take advantage of the opportunities offered by RVE Meet The Buyer.

Since RVE became part of the Modern Railways portfolio in 2018, a strong and successful partnership with Rail Forum Midlands has seen RVE Meet The Buyer grow and prosper. The 2018 RVE Meet The Buyer event featured 28 individual buyers who met nearly 100 suppliers at over 200 appointments. The following year this grew to over 300 appointments involving 41 buyers from 20 companies and four countries.
