ANGLIA

Lowestoft (2:8A)

The westerly connection into Lowestoft yard at 22M 77ch (which is planned to be renewed at a later stage) has currently has been taken out of use and the associated Ground Frame abolished.

Between Lea Bridge Junction and Meridian Water (2:10B) The new Lea Valley Reversible Line between Lea Bridge Junction (6M 33ch) and the future Meridian Water station has had its overhead line equipment energised at 25kV.

EAST MIDLANDS

Between Trent South Junction and Nottingham (4:8B) Nature Reserve Bridleway at 122M 46ch has been upgraded to include Overlay Miniature Stop Lights (OMSL).

Ambergate Junction (4:12A) Ambergate Junction has been re-laid with the layout remaining as before but with both Broadholme Loops shortened at the north end, and the trailing crossover and Matlock branch junction points moved south by ¼-mile to 137M 41ch. The Matlock branch now runs parallel to the main running lines before veering off at 137M 61ch.
