A mixed bag, with a bit of everything this month. Along with the usual platform extensions and level crossing closures, major projects such as Werrington Junction dive-under and remodelling in the Twickenham area continue to progress. Whilst projects like Feltham depot access lines and the new Kintore station are coming to fruition, others like Bristol East Junction remodelling are just starting.

LONDON NORTH EASTERN 

Skegness (2:26D) The loco release crossover between platforms 4 and 5 has been recovered and plain lined. It is also noted that Carriage Siding 3 (furthest from the running line) has been lifted, and platforms 6 and 7 are out of use. Between Peterborough and Spalding (2:16A) Further work as part of the Werrington grade separation scheme has taken place at Glinton Junction (80M 40ch), with two more trailing turnouts installed in the Down Spalding at 80M 34ch and 80M 47ch, these forming the leads onto the future Up Werrington and from Down Werrington dive-under lines.
