KINGS CROSS REMODELLED LAYOUT (FINAL)

ANGLIA 

Liverpool Street (2:2A)

Final commissioning of the track alterations to remove platform 18 and increase the operational length of platforms 16 and 17 to 205 metres (224 yards) at Liverpool Street has taken place. All pointwork has been plain lined on the buffer stop side of the scissor crossing on the tracks leading to platforms 15 to 18 and one new turnout installed to access platform 17. The track into platform 18 has also been recovered. Woodbridge area (2:9A) Melton Sewage User Worked Crossing (UWC) at 79M 54ch has been upgraded to an Overlay Miniature Stop Light crossing (OMSL). Between North Walsham and Cromer (2:8) East Runton footpath crossing at 13M 24ch has been upgraded to an OMSL crossing, a CCTV camera has also been installed. Between Beccles and Lowesftoft (2:8) Worlingham UWC at 110M 72ch, North Cove UWC at 111M 71ch and Wadehall Old Dam UWC at 112M 23ch have been upgraded to Overlay Miniature Stop Light crossings. Ripple L…
