London Underground is to reopen the Waterloo & City line on 21 June in anticipation of more workers returning to offices in the City of London. The railway has been closed since March 2020 at the start of Covid restrictions.
When it reopens, it will run every five minutes on Mondays-Fridays from 06.00 to 10.00 in the mornings and 15.30 to 19.00 in the afternoons and evenings. Transport for London says it will still encourage passengers to travel at quieter times, and that demand will be monitored.
