Transport for Wales’ CAF Class 197 DMUs are now running between Ebbw Vale and Cardiff Central in the latest phase of their rollout. The 77-strong fleet is next due to run to Pembroke Dock this year, before entry into service of European Train Control System fitted units on the Cambrian Coast line in 2025.
