LIVERPOOL LIME Street station will close on the weekend of 2-3 November while Network Rail upgrades signalling at Edge Hill. The work will see control transferred to the Manchester Rail Operating Centre, and follows the recontrol of the Weaver Junction to Wavertree Junction stretch last year. Signalling within Lime Street itself was upgraded during the station’s improvement work, completed last year.
