IN DECEMBER GB Railfreight resumed services from Cricklewood to Calvert, transporting building and construction waste.
The service operates five times a week from the S. Walsh and Sons waste transfer station to FCC Environment’s landfill site at Calvert. Trains carry around 1,500 tonnes of material from projects such as the Brent Cross redevelopment and preliminary works for HS2.
