London Gateway deal for GBRf

GB RAILFREIGHT has signed a three-year contract to manage the movements and preparation of all trains running in and out of the DP World London Gateway Port.

The operator commenced operations at London Gateway in March, and under the contract has expanded its presence at the port, including the addition of eight employees who worked for previous operator DB Cargo. GBRf describes the contract as a ‘significant development’ for its ambition ‘to support DP World to develop volume and a reliable, safe rail operation’.
