Reston station on the East Coast main line is to open on 23 May, served by LNER and TransPennine Express.
The £20 million station aims to provide better public transport in East Berwickshire and includes 70 park and ride car parking spaces including more than 20 electric vehicle charging points. It will also offer connectivity to local public transport services and 11 cycle spaces.
Construction started in early 2021, and opening will happen 58 years after the previous station at Reston closed in 1964 as part of the Beeching cuts.
