Southeastern says it is making it easier for passengers to plan accessible journey planning after upgrading its mobile application.

The new features include a Passenger Assistance booking tool integrated the journey planner and can be used to request help with getting on and off the train and navigating through stations. Bookings can be placed up to two hours before departure.

Another feature is a step-free journey planner which allows passengers to plan travel using only step-free stations and interchanges.

The application is available on Apple and Android platforms.
