A DIGEST OF THE MAIN CHANGES ON NETWORK RAIL, LONDON UNDERGROUND AND NORTHERN IRELAND RAILWAYS INFRASTRUCTURE DURING JANUARY 2017; COMPILED BY MARTYN BRAILSFORD OF THE BRANCH LINE SOCIETY (WWW.BRANCHLINE.ORG.UK).
A very quiet month after the brisk activity over the Christmas and New Year Period.
EAST MIDLANDS
Cricklewood (4:1L)
The Down Reception Siding, between Cricklewood Curve Junction (5M 19ch) and Brent Curve Junction (6M 04ch), has been returned to use, along with new sidings in the area of the former Cricklewood Recess Sidings, now to be known as the Cricklewood Aggregates Terminal. It is believed the aggregates terminal access leads off the Down Reception from the Brent Curve end of the site in the Up direction. The line then splits into two lines for the length of the terminal before joining back to a single headshunt.
