Often that means doing things differently. That’s not just launching ground-breaking innovations like tilting trains and automatic delay repay, but revolutionising interactions with customers. BACON BUTTY BATTLE BUS

Virgin Trains loved a bit of friendly rivalry.

So when competitor operator Chiltern Railways abolished its on-board catering service in May 2017, the opportunity was too good to resist. Virgin mobilised its bacon butty battle bus to emphasise that, unlike its rival in the West Midlands to London market, on-board catering was here to stay.
