Trackwatch November 2020

A digest of the main changes on Network Rail, London Underground and Northern Ireland Railways infrastructure during August 2020; compiled by Martyn Brailsford of the Branch Line Society (www.branchline.uk).

Slightly more to report on with a number of projects moving forwards this month. Amongst other things the overhead lines to Corby have been energised throughout, more track alterations have taken place at Cricklewood and likewise track alterations at Feltham have taken place to enable access to the new South Western Railway depot. Finally, the first point work for the Werrington grade separation scheme has been laid.

EAST MIDLANDS

Cricklewood (4:8B)

As part of the Brent Cross Station and Sidings Project, the North Reception Roads (1 & 2) have been taken out of use and replaced with two new through North Reception Roads (1 & 2) slightly east of the former. At the north end, after joining back into one, they now connect to the Up Slow at 6M 20ch via a new wide to gauge trap point.
