About Public Transport Scotland

With the high levels of interest in the future of Scotland’s bus and rail network, Modern Railways is again joining forces with sister publication Buses to stage a two-day transport conference. Following a successful debut in Glasgow in 2023, the event will move to Edinburgh in 2024.

Day one will focus on rail, with a line-up of senior rail professionals discussing the major innovations and policies shaping the country’s development. The Scottish Government has ambitious plans to decarbonise Scotland's rail network, and this will be a prominent focus in the discussions during the day.
